Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Lead
Influencer & Affiliate Marketing,
Built From the Inside
I'm Mick Benjamins. I spent more than nine years building and running influencer and affiliate marketing at Native Instruments, growing the program from zero to nearly €11M on a hand-picked network of 250+ creators and artists.
Most people in this field have done one side of it: either the brand-side strategy or the creator relationships. I've done both, in one of the most relationship-driven corners of music tech. I built Native Instruments' creator, influencer, and affiliate function from scratch, and I did it as someone who came up in the music itself, first behind the decks, then deep in the gear.
That mix (commercial rigour on one side, real community trust on the other) is what makes this kind of marketing actually work. It's what I'd bring to your team. The rest of this site is the proof.
"Mick found me at 5,000 followers, offered me an unreleased instrument before anyone knew who I was, and has backed me every step of the way to over half a million. He introduced me to creators, musicians, and developers all over the world."
What I do
Back the person, earn their trust, deliver the numbers.
Selected achievements

Built the entire creator and affiliate infrastructure myself: tracking, briefs, recruitment, and process. I made creators part of every campaign the company ran.
Scaled the program across three brands for a 31% affiliate revenue jump in 2025.
A network of 250+ creators, producers, DJs, artists, and music directors, chosen one at a time. Real working relationships built over years.
Placed Native Instruments hardware on the stages of major touring acts.
20+ years embedded in the DJ and music production community the marketing depends on.
“One of the best artist relations people I’ve come across in this industry. He understands what I need as a creator, keeps me in the loop without ever being pushy, and represents his company with professionalism and loyalty, even when things get complicated.”

Four principles run through all of this, and none of them start with a follower count.
